In a Nutshell
Fiona Blythe has over 25 years’ experience working in both Equity Capital Markets, primarily institutional and hedge fund equity sales and client relationship management, and in asset management, responsible for capital raising, and investor relations. Fiona is currently a Senior Advisor at Bankers without Boundaries (BwB), a not-for-profit financial advisory, asset management and investment banking business in the sustainability sector.
Fiona is committed to wildlife conservation and has participated in a number of global voluntary projects. She was previously a Trustee at the Cheetah Conservation Fund (UK) and continues to support a number of global wildlife initiatives. Her interest stems from her strong belief in the importance of preserving nature and biodiversity for the stability and sustainability of ecosystems.

With a keen interest in the art world, Fiona studied at The Courtauld Institute of Art in 2018/19, where she took a full-time course in the History of Art diploma programme, furthering her appreciation of art and its importance, not only as an investible asset class, but also as an agent of visual representation for raising awareness.

Fiona is currently a Senior Advisor at Bankers without Boundaries (BwB), a not-for-profit financial advisory and investment banking business in the sustainability sector. Prior to this, she was Managing Director at Bankers without Boundaries, Head of Biodiversity and Nature-based Solutions and part of their European Net Zero Cities initiative.

Previously a Partner at Altima Partners LLP, a former $2.5bln hedge fund and EuroHedge award recipient, investing in global Equity Special Situations where she worked for 11 years, between 2005-2016. Her role here was primarily in capital raising and investor relations, plus overseeing various internal fund restructurings and secondary offerings of the firm's non-listed Special Situation investments.

Prior to Altima Partners LLP, Fiona worked in the European Equity Sales division of several top tier investment banks including Morgan Stanley and Salomon Smith Barney (now Citigroup) between 1994-2004, responsible for equity client acquisition, cross-asset sales, Initial Public Offering book building and lead account manager for some of the banks’ key strategic clients, including both institutional investors and hedge funds.
​At the start of her career in 1994, Fiona joined James Capel Fund Managers (later HSBC Asset Management) in a client-facing role, and later, as a junior portfolio manager on the European Equity desk, specialising in Southern European listed stocks.

Qualifications
By way of recent and relevant qualifications, Fiona attained the Chartered Financial Analyst's (CFA UK) Sustainable Investing Certificate in 2021, and the Investor Relations Society's (IR Society) Certificate in Investor Relations, in 2019.
Earlier on in her career, she passed the SFA Futures and Options Representative exam from the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment Institute (London), in 2001. Also, she received the Chartered Financial Analyst's (CFA UK) Investment Management Certificate (IMC), in 1995.
Fiona holds an Upper Second Class (2:1) BA (Hons) Degree in Economics & Econometrics from the University of Westminster (1993) and a History of Art Diploma from The Courtauld Institute of Art, University of London, 2019.
Voluntary Work
In her capacity as a volunteer, Fiona has focused her efforts on supporting a number of wildlife projects including The Cheetah Conservation Fund in Namibia, a former member of their Conservation Circle and Trustee; Shamwari Game Reserve/The Born Free Foundation in South Africa; and, Wildlife Friends Foundation in Thailand amongst others.
